Gripper jaws and fingers made to fit
A gripper is only as good as its jaws. Printed fingers match the workpiece contour exactly, are light and ready in a few days. If the workpiece changes, we change the jaw.
Fits common gripper interfaces
Typical gripper parts
For robots, cobots and pick and place.
Contour jaws
Jaws that hold the workpiece form fit.
Vacuum grippers
With integrated vacuum channels and ports.
Soft gripper pads
TPU pads for delicate surfaces.
Tool changer mounts
Adapters between robot flange and gripper.
Suitable materials
PA12-CF for light, stiff fingers, TPU for soft contact faces.
- PA12-CFCarbon-filled nylon 12 - the metal replacement workhorse.
- PA12Tough, low-friction nylon for functional mechanical parts.
- TPUFlexible thermoplastic polyurethane - Shore 95A.
- PETG-CFCarbon-filled PETG - affordable structural composite.
Details for gripper jaws
- 01Gripper type and interface, ideally with the maker's designation.
- 02Workpiece data or a sample part.
- 03Gripping force and cycle time.
- 04Surfaces that must not be damaged.
Light grippers, faster cycles
Every gram at the robot flange costs acceleration or payload. Printed PA12-CF fingers often weigh a fraction of comparable aluminium parts and are still stiff enough.
The real strength lies in the contour. A jaw that encloses the workpiece form fit needs less force and grips more reliably than a flat jaw.

Printed gripper FAQ
- Why print gripper jaws instead of machining?
- They are lighter, delivered faster and allow contours and vacuum channels that would be costly to machine. The lower weight relieves the robot.
- How long do printed jaws last?
- It depends on cycles and workpiece. Wear faces can be designed as replaceable inserts.
- Will the jaws fit my gripper?
- Tell us the gripper model. We take the interface from the manufacturer's data.
- Can the vacuum gripper be printed airtight?
- With suitable parameters and enough wall thickness yes. We check tightness on request.
