Manufacturing capabilities on one page

So you know what is feasible before you enquire: part sizes, resolutions, quantities, materials, post processing and the limits of the process.

Part size
up to approx. 250 x 250 x 250 mm in one piece

Larger parts are split and bonded or bolted, with a designed split line.

Layer height
0.10 to 0.30 mm

0.20 mm is standard for functional parts. 0.10 mm for cosmetic faces, 0.30 mm for large rugged parts.

Nozzle diameter
0.4 mm and 0.6 mm, hardened for filled materials

Filled materials such as PA12-CF run on hardened nozzles so extrusion width stays stable across a batch.

Quantities
1 to several thousand parts

Single parts and samples as well as recurring small and medium batches on a fixed profile.

Wall thickness
from 0.8 mm, 1.2 mm recommended under load

Wall thickness as a multiple of extrusion width avoids thin gap-fill lines.

File formats
STEP, STL, 3MF, OBJ, IGES up to 200 MB

STEP is preferred because dimensions and radii stay exact and changes are possible without loss of quality.

Lead time
2 to 4 working days for samples, 4 to 15 for batches

Quote feedback usually comes within a few hours of upload.

Location and shipping
Manufacturing in Schleswig, Germany, shipping across Europe

Technical discussion directly with production, without a sales layer in between.

Materials in the programme

From standard materials to reinforced and flame retardant grades. Each material has its own page with properties and applications.

Post processing

  • Support removal and cleaning up witness marks
  • Reaming holes and reworking fits
  • Fitting threaded inserts and nut pockets
  • Sanding, priming and painting cosmetic faces
  • Bonding and joining split large parts
  • Marking, counting and packaging per batch

What we do not do

No single process does everything. In these cases we say no up front or point you to a different process.

  • Parts with tight tolerances below ±0.1 mm throughout belong in machining, not FDM printing.
  • We do not produce permanently pressure-tight vessels or medical implants.
  • Visually perfect cosmetic parts in high volume are cheaper in injection moulding, from a few thousand pieces upward.
