3D printing for displays and signage
Letters, logos, display stands and POS holders from 3D printing, weatherproof in ASA for outdoor use or with a clean surface ready for painting to your colour reference.
Display parts ready to ship in 2 to 4 working days
Parts for signage and point of sale
Signage combines appearance with mechanical function: letters must stand, holders must hold, and outdoor use adds UV exposure.
Letters and logos
Three dimensional company lettering and logo bodies, printed as single pieces or as segments assembled for larger formats.
Display stands
Base feet and support structures for stands, with wall thickness sized to resist tipping and warping.
POS holders
Holders for brochures, price tags and small products at the point of sale, matched to existing shelving systems.
Brackets for signage
Wall brackets and clamp profiles that fix signs to facades or interior walls securely and repeatably.
Suitable materials
For outdoor use ASA is the standard material due to its UV resistance, while indoor applications usually work well with ABS or PETG at lower cost.
- ASAThe outdoor specialist - ABS mechanics with true UV stability.
- ASA-CFCarbon-filled ASA - UV-stable and structurally rigid.
- ABSClassic engineering ABS - strong, affordable, easy to finish.
- PETGTough, food-safe-capable everyday workhorse.
- PLAFast, affordable prototyping and visual parts.
- PCPolycarbonate - high impact, high heat, transparent option.
Details needed for displays and signage
- 01Indoor or outdoor location, so we can decide between ASA and cheaper indoor materials.
- 02Target size of the finished element, so we plan early where splitting into segments makes sense.
- 03Colour reference as a sample or colour code, if painting to a brand colour is required.
- 04Mounting method at the installation site, such as wall mount, base stand or hanging into a shelving system.
- 05Quantity, since larger batches require post-processing per part to be planned and scheduled.
From print file to a painted display piece
Signage places different demands than typical mechanical parts: appearance matters as much as mechanics. A display stand must stand firmly and survive transport, a logo must look clean from the intended viewing distance. We choose wall thickness and infill so large surfaces do not sink in and edges stay crisp, without making the part unnecessarily heavy.
For outdoor use ASA is the material of choice because it tolerates UV exposure far better than ABS and yellows or embrittles much less over months outside. Larger letters or stands that exceed the printable build volume are split at points in the geometry where the joint line is barely visible, and segments are joined by gluing or hidden screws.
Colour accuracy has a limit we address openly: our filaments come in a fixed colour range, not an exact Pantone match straight off the plate. Where a binding brand colour is required, we print in natural or white, sand down visible layer lines and paint to your colour reference. That adds a work step but delivers a result that no longer looks like a 3D print.

Signage and display FAQ
- Do printed letters and logos hold up outdoors?
- Yes with ASA, the material is designed for UV resistance and yellows far more slowly than ABS. For permanent outdoor mounting we also recommend a protected fixing without standing water on the back face.
- Can you match brand colours exactly?
- Our filaments come in a fixed colour range, so an exact Pantone match is not guaranteed. For binding brand colours we recommend printing in natural or white and painting to a reference afterward.
- How large can display elements be?
- Individual printed parts stay around 250 x 250 x 250 mm, larger letters or stands are split into segments that get glued or screwed together. We plan the split line at inconspicuous points of the geometry.
- Is painting included in the price?
- No, painting is an additional service calculated separately depending on surface area and colour complexity. After printing we sand and fill visible layer lines before painting.

FDM parts come off the machine with visible layers. For many functional parts that does not matter, for visible parts it does. What sanding, fillers and paint can achieve, and where the limits are.
